Music Marathon 2023

October 28, 2023, was a wonderful day for 461 young DVMTA pianists as they presented their pieces in the annual Music Marathon. Students prepared diligently and were rewarded with audiences showing their appreciation for their hard work. This year's locations for the event included Superstition Springs Mall, Southeast Valley Bible Church, Copper Springs Retirement Community, Clearwater at Agritopia, North Chandler Place, and Mirabella at ASU. This is a great opportunity for pianists to perform in public in relaxed environments. Twenty-seven teachers participated and helped prepare their students, and students showed up with smiles and even some costumes. Many thanks to the Music Marathon committee, Sharon Vance, Nancy Chase and Diana Palmer, and all others who helped make this day so amazing.
