2020 was a year we will never forget — perhaps the most challenging year most of us have ever faced. I was inspired by the creativity, innovation and determination of DVMTA members like you to keep moving forward, buoyed by the resilience of our students and their families. If we’ve learned anything in this past year, it’s how interconnected we are - how much we all depend on each other. For that, I am grateful to be a part of this wonderful organization, DVMTA. Now we look ahead to 2021 with profound optimism, confident that we will reach new heights together. I’m expectantly looking forward to what’s next!

December Brunch is a time for DVMTA members to get together and socialize, enjoy some good food, and prepare for the busy holidays. We were fortunate to be able to gather this year at T.C. Eggington's, and those who attended relaxed and visited with one another. Our numbers may have been few, but those who wanted to be there were there in spirit, enjoying the camaraderie we share as DVMTA members and friends. Thanks to Lacy Range for organizing the event, and we hope for more opportunities to meet together soon.
DVMTA members Claire Westlake and Lorri McHardy presented our General Meeting, and gave a virtual presentation of their piano studios. They discussed teaching tips, incentives, themes, group lesson ideas, and highlighted many things that make their studios so successful. These veteran teachers shared a wealth of information with DVMTA members, and we thank them for giving so much to this organization. We are fortunate to have them as colleagues and friends. The meeting was presented in person, for those who wanted to attend, and others attended through the live video feed. Another successful meeting in a challenging time.
