This event encourages students of all ages and all levels to use their creative musical talents. A written manuscript and video recording of the composition (as performed by the composer) are submitted for evaluation.  Students perform their compositions at one of four recitals. All students who submit a composition receive a certificate and written evaluation, and students participating in the recital receive a medal. Registration for this event is $15 per student.​
