August Brunch - Aug. 19, 2022

DVMTA members and friends gathered to kick off the 2022-23 year. We love this annual tradition of meeting together to enjoy good food, and to get a preview of what is coming up. The August Brunch Committee went all out, and the food and decorations were fantastic. DVMTA President, Tammy Shorts, presented the slide show to provide information for the general meetings and the student events that will be happening this year. The DVMTA theme for the year is "Creating Lifelong Musicians." As music teachers we have the opportunity to not only teach music skills, but to create a desire to keep music as a central part of everything we do. There is so much to gain from music, and we are happy to provide the tools to help students become engaged in music for a lifetime. Thank you to everyone who helped make this brunch a success, we have so much to look forward to this year!
