For the second year, the venue for Achievement Day was at MCC's Performing Arts Center. Students came to be tested and evaluated in the areas of Theory, Sight Reading, Ear Training, Composers, Technique, Duets and Composition, as well as playing memorized pieces for DVMTA Evaluators. This is always a great day to celebrate all that has been accomplished this past year for students, as well as teachers. A dedicated 195 students participated from 25 studios. A grateful thank you to Carolyn Rooder and Beth Christensen, and to all the amazing DVMTA teachers who helped with so much for this day.
