Welcome to another DVMTA year! Members met Friday, August 16, 2024, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints building in Mesa to kick off a new year of meaningful events. A delicious brunch was enjoyed as we reconnected and visited after the summer. President Lorri McHardy led the business portion of the morning and as our new DVMTA President, she introduced our theme. This year it's "Collaborate, Create and Celebrate!" Lorri reflected on the positive benefits of DVMTA membership, and shared gratitude for her experiences within the organization that have allowed her to Collaborate, Create and Celebrate. We look forward to learning from one another as we work together this year to create meaningful experiences for students and teachers, and to celebrate achievement along the way. In addition to the new theme, Event Chairs presented information for each DVMTA Student Event this year, and we were introduced to the General Meeting Topics. We look forward to a great year, and are thankful for all who helped make the Brunch a success, and to Kelli Riding and her committee for the delicious food and decorations. Welcome to 2024-2025!
