Throughout the year, our organization has provided engaging events, meetings, and resources to support you in your teaching journey. These opportunities have allowed us to come together, share ideas, and learn from one another, ultimately enriching the musical experiences we offer to our students.
As we approach the end of the year, I encourage you to take a moment to reflect on the growth you've witnessed in your students and in yourself as a teacher. How have your students flourished and developed their musical skills? How have you grown and evolved as a teacher? It is a privilege to guide our students on their musical journey, and I am continually inspired by the progress they make and the passion they bring to their music.
Let's finish the year strong and help our students cross the finish line with confidence and pride. There are still remaining events and opportunities for us to come together and celebrate the musical achievements of our students. I look forward to sharing these experiences with all of you and continuing to support one another in the year ahead. Thank you for your dedication and commitment to music education. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of our students.
The future of our organization is bright and in very good hands! I’d like to welcome the new DVMTA Executive Officers for 2024-2026, who were unanimously voted in at our March General Meeting:
President: Lorri McHardy
Vice President: Diana Palmer
Secretary: Wendi Heslop
Treasurer: Carolyn Rooder
We still have fun times ahead. I invite you to join us at the April Brunch on Friday, April 26th at 9:30 am. Details are in this newsletter and on the DVMTA website. It’s the perfect opportunity to relax and connect with other teachers, recognize those who serve, and to celebrate the wonderful year we have had. And lastly, we look forward to watching our students shine at Achievement Day and the Awards Plus recognition ceremony in May.
